  • Thessaloniki Port features a modern container terminal equipped with advanced handling systems to ensure efficient operations year-round.
    • Capacity & Location: The terminal spans 550 meters and has a storage capacity for 5,200 TEUs. It can accommodate vessels with drafts up to 12 meters.
    • Advanced Equipment: Containers are handled using 5 STS cranes, including New Panamax cranes, along with reach stackers, forklifts, and other modern machinery.
    • Rail Connectivity: A direct railway connection facilitates the swift transfer of containers, supported by a transtainer with 50 tons of lifting capacity.
    • Reefer Container Support: The terminal provides 474 plugs for refrigerated containers.

Conventional Cargo Handling

The Conventional Cargo Terminal handles a wide range of goods, from general and bulk cargo to liquid and vehicle shipments.
